Labamba Chalet
Thatched Malay style chalet with large verandah, four-poster bed with fan and mosquito netting and en-suite bathroom with hot water.

Or

Cabanas Chalet
Semi-detached chalet with verandah, air conditioning and en-suite bathroom. There are now 3 chalets which have both a/c AND hot water showers, these chalets attract an additional cost of RM20 per room, per night.

Terms & Conditions

Minimum stay is 2 nights, and a minimum of 3 nights for Public Holiday weekends.

Check-in 2 pm (early check-in available on special request)
Check-out 12pm (late check-out available on special request)

Weddings, Anniversaries and Birthday Parties can be arranged.

• Boat Transfers (minimum 4 people, excluding under 2 children): 2 way boat transfer from Tg Leman to Sibu - RM 70 per adult, RM 50 per child (2 - 12 yrs, under 2 free of charge).
• Night transfers after 7.00pm will attract an additional charge of RM10 per person.
• In addition to the boat transfer charge, there is a jetty fee of RM4 per person (under 2 years free), payable directly to the jetty authority.

• Road transport can be arranged from Singapore or Johor Bahru.
• For groups of 6 or more from Singapore, RM100 per person return trip.
• Please enquire for quotation for less than 6 as the rates are dependant on numbers of passengers wishing to travel.

Pick-up and drop-off in Singapore will be from Jurong East (opposite MRT station) or Woodlands.

Pick-up and drop-off in Johor Bahru will be from the city centre.

We can arrange transfers from Singapore Changi Airport or Senai International Airport, Johor, if required.

There is no public bus service to the jetty at Tanjong Leman, but taxis are available for hire in Johor Bahru.

Booking Terms and Conditions

Sibu Island Cabanas has a strict NO bring your own food or drink policy. Corkage is chargable.

Prior room reservation is required and is subject to room availability.

Room Reservations are to be guaranteed with an acceptable Credit Card, or a one night’s charges for the total room reserved to be deposited into the resort’s bank account which shall be advised during the confirmation stages.

We recommend taking out Travel Insurance to cover any cancellation charges.

All cancellation must be notified in writing to our e-mail address.

Cancellation made within 8 days prior to check in date shall incur a penalty of 50% of the total room/package charges.

Cancellation made within 4 days prior to check in date shall incur a penalty of 100% of the total room/package charges.

Cancellation made after check in date shall incur a penalty of 100% of the outstanding duration of the booking.


We strongly recommend Travel Insurance is taken out.
